First time to Pigeon Forge last week and this was on our top 5 to-do list. The outside of the building is awesome! Loved the displays, however, it was tough to enjoy a good majority of them because there was so many people in each area. I don’t think they ever stopped letting people in. I was pleasantly suprised at the museum. I did not expect them to have as much information and artifacts as they did. As true crime and history junkies we loved it and learned a lot. We did not have children with us and we did not use the audio tour. The website says it takes an hour to go through the general admission area of the museum but it took us about 2.5-3. But we also stopped to read everything. So if you are like us and plan to take in as much information as you can, give yourself extra time, it is worth it.. I think we will upgrade for the addition of the audio next time to make sure we are able to hear/read all of the exhibits. We highly recommend this tour.read more

I have a retired NYPD officer as my neighbor across the street from me. He has told me some things that really hit home after seeing all this. I just wanted to show my appreciation for the young man working the gift shop yesterday afternoon. Not even 10 minutes into our visit my son, who has autism, was overstimulated & went into meltdown mode. My husband & I quickly sped through the museum to leave & when I asked if there was any way to get a refund & explained what had happened he very kindly gave us one. The scenes and exhibits that were displayed were amazing. Our kids had fun playing in the cop car and running through the lights. Somethings were a little scary for them. We took a lot of fun pictures and had a fun time. I recommend not bringing kids so you can look and read-without being distracted and they may be a little bored but if you're like us and have no sitter, bring them. Also we did not do any of the crime excursions that were offered so I can't tell you how that went but there were a lot of people in there walking around trying to find clues so I assume they might be a little difficult.read more
