While cute and mostly docile, glitz dragons can be surprisingly dangerous when provoked. Not only are their antlers, nose horn, and front talons surprisingly sharp, but their back legs and tail are rather powerful, and a kick or blow from either can be quite damaging.
Defenses[]
Glitz dragons have a very particular method of startling away potential opponents. First, they fluff up their fur, hold their tail up high in the air, and spread out their legs so they appear larger. Then, they shoot an array of tiny sparks of light (similar to the flicker dragon's signature lights) that quickly explode. These sparks are very weak, only causing minor pain to the victim upon exploding, however when they explode they create a large burst of colorful light and a harsh popping sound. While wizards often find the light shows created by the flicker dragon pretty, many dragons and non-dragon creatures find these light shows deeply startling, making this a very effective defense against enemies.
Other Abilities[]
Glitz dragons are very skilled with their inherit phenomancy then most other Ornamental dragons, and even most other dragons in general. With proper training, they can easily be made to decorate your house or your Goodiness Tree in preparation for the Season of Goodies (or whatever they're calling it this year), create confetti and bright lights for your party, decorate birthday cakes while using their weak pyromancy to light the candles... the possibilities for decoration are endless! Speaking of phenomancy, thanks to the phenomancy woven into their own fur, glitz dragons constantly glitter and sparkle. This has no practical use, it's just aesthetically pleasing.

Ironically, glitz dragons are just as easily startled by explosions, loud noises, and bright lights as other dragons, and as a result can sometimes by startled by their own light shows, leaving them open to attack. Since most of their innate magic in stored in their fur, especially in the navy blue parts, disabling a glitz dragon's magic is as easy as shaving one.
