Momoko Sonomura (園村桃子, Sonomura Momoko) is a character in Battle in 5 Seconds After Meeting series. She is a spy of the Red Team inside the Green Team.

Appearance[]
Momoko is an older woman with curly hair and poorly defined facial features.
Personality[]
Momoko appears to be a kind and protective woman. However, she is actually a psychopath obsessed with protecting "her children" only because of her own selfishness.
Plot[]
Momoko used to work in an orphanage where children were constantly abused by the director. Among these children were Masaya and Hajime. Seeing herself unable to help them, she vowed to protect them if she ever had the chance.
After entering the third program Momoko joined the Green Team as head of the medical group, but after discovering that Masaya and Hajime were the leaders of the Red Team, she decided to become their spy.
During the battle between the Green Team and the Red Team, Momoko pretended to stay behind as medical support while giving herself the opportunity to assassinate Yuto. For this, she killed the spy of the Red Team that they had prisoner and then attacked Yuto when they were alone, although he is saved thanks to his ability. However, Momoko takes baby Taro hostage to force Yuto to nullify his ability and thus kill him.
Ringo then confronts Momoko about what she did and a battle breaks out between them. Ringo manages to take advantage of her ability to copy a tenth of Momoko's cannon, creating a rapid gun. Momoko manages to subdue Ringo using her cannon as a hitting weapon. However, Ringo's shots to the surroundings knocking down part of a ravine trick Momoko into believing that Taro who had been left there had been crushed. Running to his aid, Ringo catches Momoko and forces her to surrender. Momoko still tries to hit her from behind with a rock, but Ringo shoots into the ravine knocking debris on her.
Ability[]
- Handcuffs: These handcuffs serves to seal one's ability. When the red light turning in green signals, it means that the lock has been released. Five seconds after it turns green, you will regain the use of your hands as well as your abilities.
Guardian Angel[]
[守護天使 lit. Shugo tenshi]
- Description: The ability to turn your hand into a cannon.
- One arm can be morphed into a cannon able to fire a mass of energy. At maximum output, the cannon is strong enough to destroy concrete walls and floor. Two shots can be fired in rapid succession if the output is minimized. However, once the tank runs dry it will take some time before it can fire again.
