Ford is recalling certain model year 2013 Explorer, Taurus, Flex, Fusion, Police Interceptor Sedan and Police Interceptor Utility vehicles; and certain model year 2013 Lincoln MKS, MKT, and MKZ vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the fuel delivery module may develop a crack, allowing fuel to leak.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2011-2013 Explorer vehicles. In the affected vehicles, the interior door handle return spring may unseat, resulting in interior door handle that does not return to the fully stowed position after actuation.

Some clips attaching trim to the exterior of the vehicle between the front windows and the windshield "are not properly engaged due to improper assembly or repair," the company said, which can cause the A-pillar trim to come loose or fully detach. The recall affects certain Explorer SUVs between model years 2011-2019.

The recall covers Explorers from the 2011 through 2019 model years. The recall concerns A-pillar retention clips that hold the trim that covers the vehicle's roof supports by the windshield.

Ford is recalling 1,889,110 Explorer SUVs from the 2011 to 2019 model years because of concerns that an exterior trim piece on the A-pillar that flanks the windshield may detach. If the trim falls off in transit, it could create a road hazard for other road users, increasing the risk of a crash.
